Blessing Day

Mitchell was able to bless Redick and Reid in church today. I always love listening to a father bless his children, even more when it's Mitchell blessing our children! The blessings were lovely. He mentioned each of the boys' namesakes and qualities those individuals have exemplified. Redick Newton Allred is known for his faith and diligence in following the prophet. My brother James has modeled good choices and obedience to the commandments. I remember that Redick's blessing talked about being an example to others of righteousness and sharing the gospel. Also, using the power of the Atonement and repentance. Reid's talked about him being kind and compassionate in following the example of our Savior to show love for others. They were beautiful blessings and the Spirit was strong. Here are some pictures from the day.

Mom and Eileen were able to pass through town again on their way home from their great adventure. Mom with 3/4 kids and 3/5 grand kids.

The kids, July 2012

Reid, 5 weeks

R&R, 5 weeks
The boys are growing so fast!! Redick is especially big! At Grandma's house the other day we tried to weigh them on the kitchen scale. It was definitely not a super accurate operation but it gave me a good idea of their current weight. Redick: 9 pounds, Reid: 7.5 pounds.

One Month

Happy one month to Redick and Reid! We are sure loving having them here!

These swaddlers are one of the best baby inventions ever! SwaddlePods, love them.

Redick (left) is growing so fast! He is now noticeably bigger than Reid. Interesting.
We went to Logan for the 4th of July to spend time with Papa Harris and Grandma Kitty. It was really fun! Audrey adores her cousins and Aunt Ellie! We played outside, jumped on the trampoline, ate a delicious BBQ dinner and homemade ice cream. I've mentioned this before, we love living close to family again!

Here's Uncle Danny meeting Redick.

Papa Harris arrived home from a business trip in time for dinner. He had worked several days of long night shifts so he was exhausted but he made sure to read some stories to the kids, they love it!

Last Saturday Audrey got to ride the train at the mall! Choo choo!

Babies grow up so fast! I wont be able to hold them both on my lap for long!

Or all 3!  :)

Audrey sure loves her brothers. She is my big helper!

Today we went to a "water park" (splash pad) with some other moms and kids from the neighborhood. It took Audrey a bit to warm up to the water but she had fun!

Catch up time

I have some quiet time to blog today largely thanks to my awesome sister in law Jessinna! She has generously invited Audrey to spend a few days at her house. Audrey loves her cousins and I imagine they are having a great time! I miss her but I sure enjoyed sleeping in until 9:00am today and having lots of uninterrupted snuggle time with my boys. Anyway, shout out to Jess! Thanks!

The day after Eileen got here (before the babies were born) we took Eileen to see an outdoor theater production of the Wizard of Oz. It was cute and really fun to take Eileen out for her birthday.

Audrey loves to join in with tummy time!

On Saturday we went to the Lehi City parade. Audrey absolutely loved it! For a 2 year old though, what's not to love!? There were horses, firetrucks, and people throwing candy! Haha.

This was our ward's float. It turned out so cute!

Look at this handsome little boy! Reid, 3 weeks old.

Mitchell finished the play kitchen the weekend before the boys were born and it turned out so cute! Audrey loves it! She calls it her "new kitchen" and shows it off to everyone who comes over to visit.

She has hooks for her aprons and loves to come downstairs and cook.
